I made it home with lil difficulty, I started to worry when I looked out my classroom windows and I saw the clouds gathering.

Oh yeah all I can say about missing 2 days of class *whew* The first day I missed I had the homework for, and then he gave another assignment. I'd normally be screwed cuz he doesn't accept late work, but…Monday was a review day, or at least a catch up day for everybody so I had til today for that homework assignment which I finished right before class thanx to . We got our grade updates today and I had like all kinds of 0's…I tried to give him my user name and web address for school, before but he kept brushing me off. So today I get it and 0's almost all the way across. I just stared at him and thought WTF! I looked at him and I said, “I had this stuff done before you even assigned it!” He answered with, “Well you never told me your username and I where to find your webpages…” I just blinked numerous times as I sputtered, “You have my freakin email I sent as the first assignment, thats my username and web address, you of all people should know that.” I mean not to knock the guy or say he doesn't know his job, but he is teaching CP106 Intro to (friggin) Web Technology!

Needless to say I now have a 100 in that class and hopefully our latest assignment won't affect my grade much. Our newest homework assignment?!? Get two graphics and two sound files so we can play with them on webpages…uhhhhhhh…..maybe I shoulda taken the challenge exam. But Im so stoked because I miss two days and Im still on top of it, hopefully I can pull that off with Acct I missed half of my accounting class two sessions ago (It's a once a week Saturday class), so Im hoping I can catch up and get at least a C I want it done and gone finally. Though with my instructor I think I can pull it off, the only thing that sucks is the final is a comprehensive exam, meaning our instructor dosn't make it otherwise Im sure we'd be on easy street. He made me fear taking the class at frst but as we progress it doesn't seem that hard, and our class is survigin the attrition rate normal for an accounting class. Normally one-third will drop out by the drop out deadline. We have all 32 members of the class still, so we might prove them wrong. Then again its all people who are serious about the class or need it to better themselves, I think we only have 3-4 full time students in there including me. Lots of older people but that also means that they are more than willing to help or be friendly with me.

Oh yeah back to my Web tech class, the instructor seems to have it out for me. I mean numerous times I've been able to prove that I know whats goin on or just beat him to the assignment before he gives us instructions on how to use it. This happened on the first day of real class work, connected to the TVI server through SSH and proceed to use Pine. Okie I think I have a lil familliarity with Pine since all I used to use was our Unix machines while at NMSU. So I try to log in only to find my account is locked, everybody else gets their problems taken care of except me so I just kinda sit there looking extreemly bored. He gets mad cuz I don't have what I should up on my screen, I just kinda stared at him and explained I knew how to use it. Then proceed to tell him the commands neccessary to send a message. Grrrrr. Second time he gets mad at me, he's gonig through basic Unix commands to set up a directory and set permissions. I saw the hand out and proceeded to do the above before he even starts the lecture. He gets mad because Im not waiting to make sure I have everything right, I show him what I've done and ask him if its correct. he says yes but proceeds to whinge about what if he had wanted it differently. I say that I would have just deleted the directory and put it where he wanted it and once again changed the permissions. Double Grrrr…..So this guy is under my skin, and Im not liking this class too much, but I'll survive I spose.

So yeah it was sprinkling the whole way across campus and UNM to the busstop I was worried the heavens would drop their load while I was in such a vulnerable position. But I made it to the bus and it started to rain I only had a short jaunt from the busstop to home and I met one of our new downstairs neighbor. He's a kewl kid with good intentions, but he's a typical high schooler all wrapped up in bein kewl and a lil thugger. Well intentioned though, he got all scared when I told him I could hear his music in the baby's room. But I explained the baby isn't due til Dec so he doesn't have to worry about his music bein too loud yet. Anywho thats about it Im bored and don't wanna ride my bike to work, hopefully the heaven's will stop their pissin and I can only worry about gettin splashed by stupid drivers, that would be great. Yeah I lead a boring life, back to yours citizens!
