Ok, so now I've run into a bit of a snafu, my wife has seemed to lost her drivers for her printer, whoooooops. Funny, Mandrake had the driver and we don't have it for windows. Tis humorous to me. Luckly, Canon has the driver available for download. Sadly it's 11.6MB. Really spiffy they also have the applications that are included on the disk available for download as well. SCHWEET! Sadly, these are pretty hefty again. I think I might want to get all this downloaded and make a new cd, you know for the next *cou-reinstall-gh* UGH! I shudder to think about that. I think I shall link the download page here, because my bookmarks seem to be broken in Opera, blargh, probably another corruption, just like my profile in OE. UGH! Luckly I was able to correct that one easily, baby let me know if you have issues with OE I know how to fix it and can do it easily later tonight. Oh yeah, My driver page and apps for the printer More happy geeky news, I just found Linmodems, I had forgotten the s last night, so now Im downloading the driver for my winmodem, YaY! Sadly, it's $14.95? For the full version. Fine with me, I just hope it works with the free version. I will be stuck with 14.4 speeds until I get money in my account and register, but to have a modem in linux will kick my ass! Yes I am in full geek mode. I also forgot to mention that I got to geek out with one of our cooks. Good gawd Im a dork, we talked about linux goodness, and the horrors of a Windows reinstall. Thank goodness for manufacturers allowing you to find the drivers on their sites. Ah well if I can get my modem to work in Mandrake Im one up on my uber geek cook. i will win this contest, How I heart you Linuxant. I will say that I did learn our modem is a Conexant during the reinstall, you can learn something new everyday!

It's quite cute as I type my daughter is sitting…er slouching on the couch and making al kinds of sounds and noises. She can now climb on and off the couch at will so you can look at her on the floor go grab something form the kitchen and find her happily sitting in the couch. Man she's a cutie. Want some goodness ?!? , go and bask. I shall go and try to get some house work done.
