So, we get back into the swing of spring, not bad, just wish the wind would die down.

People who go out to resturants just to make their servers life hell. I can see where it can be a control thing, but for the most part it makes me sad that these people are so pathetic that they literally kick a man while their down. I mean being a bastard to your server is just cruel especially when they are nice and can’t really retaliate then. Im fortunate in the fact that I can retaliate wth wit and then removal of alcoholic beverages from their table. I’ve done it before and I will do it again. I have only had one table make me so angry that I couldn’t think straight or even wait on them anymore. This table will surely die a thousands deaths in the depths of their hell. People feel that they don’t owe me anything, well technically you don’t but if don’t tip then there is really no motivation for me to take care of you. Read more

I’ve tried to lay down and sleep about three times now and each time is failing miserably, so Im hoping that I’ll pass out as I type this update of sorts. So now Im officially married and really kind of enjoying myself as I embark on this new journey. Things have finaly calmed down in the household and we can focus on the important things. Making room for all our new kewl stuff, our kid, and the dream of a car someday. As I said more important things to think about and do. Yeah so I was thinking the other day, yeah big shock huh? The topic…martini’s vs tequila shots.
Alright so tequila is actually supposed to be enjoyed as a fine sipping beverage, but I think I’ve only done that a total of 10 times in my life. The rest of the time its been a shot slinging existance with this wonderful liquor. SO that brings me to shots of tequila vodka and what have you. Now at some point in time there was a snooty person who decided that they were too good to sip their vodka or gin from a shot glasss so what do they do? That’s right boys and girls they made a foo foo glass, which is the biggest bitch in the world to serve a drink in and put their shots of gin and vodka in it. Read more

Tequila Shots- Regardless of the name they seem to have a handle on good tequilas and drinks.
Tequila: In Search of the Blue Agave- Whoa Informative Informative, though it does take a bit to get to the goodies if your a reading whore like me.

Sorry about the length, so Im gonna cut it for ya. Basically its how I was a smartass and made a bit of extra cash last week.

So Im waiting on a big party last week and thankfully someone told me they would handle the bill up too $200 this made my job easier since I dont have to split checks then…whew. Sadly we are one of the only places in town that will do such a thing to large parties, I think Im going to try and convince my managers otherwise because it is becoming a big pain, it doesn’t even really help the tip when I do al that work. I just sat there staring as I couldn’t sleep. I stared at my reflection and tried to get myself to fall asleep. It wasn’t working, but as I stared at that drained, haggard, chubby visage I thought about a few things. What has really made me what I am today. I have a lot of great stories for friends when we are drinking and bragging, yet they seem sort of hollow when I think about telling them to my daughter. I’ve done and seen a lot of things as well as felt a few things that have helped me see the world in a different life. I don’t think anything that has happened to me has destroyed my world view in anyway. Each new experience has helped open my eyes to a new point of view and a new aspect of beauty. I sound like some sort of wacked out earth mother thats been drinking too much when I talk like this, but it is rare when I talk about what I think about and try to communicate how I see the world.
