photo credit: honor the giftSo it is that time of year again, where we dress up the colonization of the US and the removal of the indigenous people as awesome.  Now I have no beef with the holiday itself, just more of it’s portrayal.  I can agree and ascribe that the Native Americans had pity on the pilgrims and helped em out with a solid, but it didn’t stop there.  You know being a people of reciprocation they gave back with small pox and other diseases.  Some solid stealing of land and last of all the slaughter of Native Americans throughout the whole westward progression. Sounds like a good trade if you ask me.  Now before everybody goes all, but your parents wouldn’t have met without this progress,  or look at the luxury you live in!  I will admit that for me, the events turned out pretty good.  Im part of a loving biracial family that has some pretty good looking specimens in it, I have a solid Native American family that helps me remember that big families equal more love, and I know how to make other people uncomfortable while making jokes about my racial background.  Regardless of my feelings on it’s portrayal, Thanksgiving has always been a good holiday for me.

So my hosting services were gobbled up by an ISP, blargh. So what happens my admins tell me, my site as well as my wife’s should only be down for a day or so. Well here it is like 2 days after the fact that I finally realized it was all KaKed up! So everybody who may have commented or even written me an email Im sorry you got a whole lotta nothin. We just got our email functioning again and have yet to get our sites back up. I hope to get them working real soon because I just like to know I have something online. I took down my tripod site thinking having my hosting would be better. I have yet to see that so we may see my old tripod site up with a major overhaul. Who knows, we shall see. Right now I just want to kick something, because this transfer has made things difficult and for those of you that know how I feel about extra work, yeah you know what Im thinking. SO yeah if you tried email or the sites it was jacked, we are back and hopefully ready for communication.

For some reason Ri refuses to sleep, and I can’t seem to get to sleep so Im going to kill a bit of time before my last load of laundry gets put in the dryer and I attempt to lay the Rilinator down for her evening siesta. The night passed with lil incident, although I just want to take some people out and shoot them. Maybe Im just losing my patience or something but Im just tired of dealing with most people out there in the world. I am slowly losing patience with the people that I take care of at work. Tonight was a pretty slow and crappy night for me, but this just took the cake.

Alright I know that was kind of rude, but this guy had been giving me grief the whole night and I think I got a total of $1 off of about $50 worth of drinks I ran for them. He was always paying to make himself look good for the woman he was with. I mean crap how many jobs do you know of where you can go in for 5 hours and walk with $50-100 dollars. Yeah Im running low on patience with people and Im not sure how long I will be able to keep my mouth in check.

So they are clearing out a lot of people from work. And quality people, not the dumb asses who got their jobs due to ass kissin. My fav sup was called in and told to clear out. WTF is that, she’s the one who got our whole ETS team up and running as smoothly as it has been. So they can her? Yeah they got rid of a few other sups but I could careless. It only frightens me bcause I have yet to find a kick ass job. I suppose I could go back to waiting tables. But i’m not the type of person who can smile no matter what.
